If you want your horse to be included in the catalog sale we will need pictures and information; including all paperwork, health, coggins, training, DOB, height, registered papers or any other information pertaining to your horse before they will be added to the catalog. There will also be a $100 non-refundable catalog fee. Commission will be 8%. Calhan Auction Market has the right to refuse or remove any horses that do not fit or do not meet the requirements of our sale. You will be contacted as soon as a decision has been made on your horse with either a call or email.
All comments and photos are the responsibility and expression of the consignor. Calhan Auction Market is not responsible for any errors or omissions of information on any horse and assumes no liability for any statements, verbal or written, regarding horses sold.
We have an on site arena where consigners will be able to show off their horses. This will start at what is called our viewing time before the horse sale starts. We will provide setup for things such as roping, barrels, sorting, etc. This is an option for the consigner to use to show what their horse can do, however; Calhan Auction Market is not responsible for injury to horse, rider, or spectator. Any animals (cattle, goats, etc) will be provided and any abuse to said animals will be immediate removal of arena area up to removal for sale and property. This is a luxury and should be treated as such.
Hay can be provided for your horse at a fee. If you choose this option you will be given what hay we have on the property. If you want to bring your own hay, you will be provided bunks and water in all pens.
Calhan Auction Market acts as an agent only between buyer and seller. Any warranties or guarantees made by the seller are exclusively between the buyer and seller. Calhan Auction Market does NOT make any guarantees or warranties.
Forms of payment accepted are; cash, credit card and PRE APPROVED checks. Returned checks will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Credit card transactions are incurred a 4% buyers fee. There is no fee for cash or check. All payments must be made on sale day. The buyer will receive a Bill Of Sale upon payment when paying with cash or credit card. The buyer will receive Proof Of Purchase and Bill of Sale will be mailed upon clearing of the check.
Checks will be held for 5-7 business days and then mailed to the address given to us by the consigner. This is to ensure correctness.
ALL SALE DAY CHANGES, AUCTIONEER NOTE AND STATEMENTS SUPERCEDE ALL WRITTEN TERMS AND AGREEMENTS.
